Unidentified burrowing animal that grunts when poked with a stick and scared the crap out of me to the utmost amusement of Kendra and Betsy. (Probably another one of these.)

at least they never grunt at me.

Hmpf. Kendra spent much of the trip home grunting at me. She even threatened to dig a hole in the backyard and hide in it until I walk past - only to then grunt at me.
